Dosbarth Oren had a great day in the woods for our school trip. We started off looking for injured animals in the woods that need our help. We made stretchers for them to be carried on, then we made a bed/ a shelter to keep them warm.

We then had to work in pairs and listen carefully to each other to help guide us around the course and guess what was in the 'feely' bags.
Dosbarth Oren then thought about how they could look after the wildlife and their habitats. We talked about not destroying any homes or shelters the animals may be living in, as well as keeping these areas tidy and not littering. We then discovered conkers on the floor and had a closer look at their protective outer shells that squirrels or other animals would have broken to eat the conkers inside.
